Most Singaporeans above the age of 18 have a driver’s license many of us drive often. But what do we do in the event of a flat tire? We call repair services or tow services. However, imagine if it is rush hour and you do not have that kind of time to spare, you would really rather do it yourself and get it done with, without having to wait for the service people to arrive. The only problem is, you do not know how. Why not equip yourselves with this skill? Sure, changing tires look like a chore, it looks very heavy duty as well, and only really strong people seem to know how to change tires.
Leave all those myths behind, because that is absolutely not true; with the right techniques, anyone can safely change a tire. It is a skill that is good to have, and useful too, in case of emergencies.
Happy Sparrow has thus brought this innovative programme to you as a fun team building activity.
Participants can expect to learn about some of the safety pointers that are most overlooked in the event of a flat tire, and the right steps to take to change the tires using the correct techniques and the right tools. They will learn the most efficient and the easiest way to change a tire. For example, they will be taught how to use a jack effectively and how and when to loosen those machine-tightened nuts from their tires. They can work together with their colleagues and bond, sharing a good laughter while learning a very useful life skill.
Equipping yourself with this necessary skill will make you realise how easy it actually is, compared to how difficult looks. You would be less dependant on others should the situation arise. Before this, you might have never thought that changing a tire can also be fun!
